01 / Member loop

A member’s next reward, clear at a glance.

A simple program gives customers a reason to return and gives staff one shared view of points, stamps, and the next eligible reward.

Customer gift-card guardrails

Keep sensitive steps separate.

  1. InventoryMerchant-owned inventory remains in the Gift Card Vault workflow.
  2. RedemptionCustomer reward availability follows the existing Program rules.
  3. Authorized revealSecure reveal stays explicit and available only to an authorized member.

Keep inventory merchant-owned

Customer gift-card inventory remains in the existing merchant-owned Gift Card Vault workflow.

Reward from the program

Configure closed-loop customer gift-card rewards through the existing Program workspace and its established availability rules.

Protect the reveal step

Authorized member access and explicit secure reveal remain separate from normal merchant list views.

Questions people ask

How do I load gift cards into the vault?
Create a pool for each brand, currency and value, then paste that pool's codes in CSV format. The CSV needs brand, amount_cents, currency and code columns, with optional pin, expires_on and instructions, and one import takes up to 5,000 rows. Each row must match the pool's value and currency. The preview masks every code, codes are encrypted as they are imported, and a card already in your vault is skipped instead of added twice.
What happens when a customer redeems points for a vault gift card?
In one step, Rewardfinity takes an available card from the reward's pool, earliest expiry first, deducts the points and issues the card to that member. Expired cards are never handed out. The member then opens the code from their saved rewards on their member page. If the pool is empty, the redemption stops and no points are spent.
Who can see a customer gift card's code?
The member who redeemed the card sees its code on their own member page, and reveals are recorded. The vault dashboard shows card counts and pool health, not the codes, and the import preview shows only the last four characters of each code and whether a PIN is present. Codes get application-level AES-GCM encryption on top of database encryption. Never send gift-card codes or PINs in a support request.
Do I need a gift-card provider account to use the vault?
No. The vault hands out gift cards you have already bought, so there is no provider to connect for it. Automatic gift-card payout through a provider is a separate feature and is not shipped, so a gift-card reward set up for provider payout stays pending until someone fulfils it. Rewardfinity does not hold reward funds at any point.
Which Rewardfinity plan includes gift-card rewards?
Scale, on the web plans. Gift-card reward software comes with web Scale and not with Grow, and the Shopify app plans, including the app's own Scale plan, do not include it. Web Scale is 59 USD per month in the United States, 79 CAD per month in Canada and 49 GBP per month in the United Kingdom. A new web workspace has it during the 60-day trial, with no card required and no automatic charge when the trial ends. The gift cards themselves are bought separately.
